Economic Development Manager
Diversity is key and shows in Karen’s projects: construction & launch of a joint composite manufacturing facility for aerospace firms Safran Engineered Composites & Albany International; regional shopping centers by the Wilder Company and Waterstone Retail; & establishment of a 925-acre tax increment financing (TIF) district to incentivize commercial growth.
Jenn Marsh
Economic Development Specialist
With fifteen years experience as a real estate agent and investment representative with Keller Williams Coastal Realty, Marsh Realtors & Fidelity Investments, Jenn brings a wealth on site selection experience. Jennifer holds a degree in International Finance and Business from American University in Washington, D.C.
Jennifer Murphy Aubin
Executive Secretary
She manages the marketing and communications projects for the office, including design for national advertising campaigns, website/social media and special events. She has over 15 years in the economic development field working with businesses; her experience includes project management, strategic planning, finance and fundraising. Jennifer holds a degree in English from University of New Hampshire (UNH) and pursuing her graduate degree in Public Administration.
Julian Long
Community Development Coordinator & Grants Manager
Julian manages the City of Rochester’s Community Development Block Grant, federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. His recent grants include awards from the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Justice, & Land & Community Heritage Investment Program. He holds a degree from William & Mary Law School.
